Blackened Salmon Fillets

  • 420g salmon fillets, skin and bones removed
  • ½tbsp onion powder
  • 1 ½tsp ground hot pepper
  • 1tbsp ground paprika
  • 2pinch ground black pepper
  • ½tsp ground white pepper
  • ½tsp dried basil
  • ½tsp dried thyme
  • ½tsp dried oregano

Prepare the ingredients.

In a small bowl, mix paprika, crushed red pepper, onion powder, salt, white pepper, black pepper, thyme, basil and oregano.

Sprinkle salmon fillets evenly with the mixture.

In a large, heavy skillet over high heat, cook salmon until blackened, 2 to 5 minutes. Turn fillets, drizzle with remaining coconut butter, and continue cooking until blackened and fish is easily flaked with a fork.

Serve.
